Cancellations to services between Bristol Parkway and Newport South Wales
Due to a fault with the signalling system at Patchway some lines are blocked. Disruption is expected until 20:00 16/07.

Train services between Bristol Parkway and Newport South Wales may be cancelled or delayed.

Customer Advice:

We are sorry for the disruption to your journey today. Due to a fault with the signalling system in the Patchway area, the line towards South Wales is blocked. Network Rail are on site and are working to fix the fault.

We are currently unable to run our full train service between London Paddington / Bristol Parkway and South Wales. Train services between London Paddington / Bristol Parkway and South Wales will run at a reduced frequency of 1 train per hour until further notice.

Due to a fault with the signalling system at Patchway some lines are blocked. Disruption is expected until 20:00 16/07.

Impact:

Train services between Bristol Temple Meads and Newport South Wales will be cancelled, delayed or terminated at and started back from Bristol Temple Meads.

Customer Advice:

We are sorry for the disruption to your journey today. Due to a fault with the signalling system in the Patchway area, the line towards South Wales is blocked. Network Rail are on site and are working to fix the fault.

We are currently unable to run our train service between Bristol Temple Meads and Cardiff Central. If you are travelling between Bristol Temple Meads / Filton Abbey Wood and Newport / Cardiff Central, you will need to take the first available train to Bristol Parkway where you will need to change trains to complete your journey.

To help you complete your journey, you may use your tickets at no extra cost on Cross Country trains between Bristol Parkway and Bristol Temple Meads.

If you're at Severn Tunnel Junction and wish to travel towards Bristol, you will need to take the first available Transport for Wales train towards Newport where you will need to change trains to complete your journey. Your tickets will be accepted at no extra cost.

Delays to services between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton
Due to sheep on the railway between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton all lines are blocked.

Impact:

Train services running through these stations will be delayed. Disruption is expected until 19:00 16/07.

Customer Advice:

We're sorry for the delay to your journey, due to sheep on the railway in the Highbridge & Burnham area, all lines are blocked. Network Rail are sending staff to site to assist.

Some of our trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Weston Super Mare may need to be cancelled as we have limited space available at Weston Super Mare to accommodate trains.

You may use your tickets at no extra cost on Cross Country trains between Bristol Parkway / Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton to help you complete your journey.
