NEW: Engineering Work: At Tackley
Planned engineering work will take place at Tackley from 00:00, Friday 12 June 2026 to 23:59, Saturday 15 May 2027.
Some Oxford lines are affected.
All services between Banbury and Oxford will be running non stop between Heyford and Oxford. Tackley will not be served.
Platform 2 and the footbridge close from Friday 12 June 2026 until Spring 2027 whilst the temporary footbridge is removed and a new footbridge with lifts is built; this means trains towards Oxford cannot stop at Tackley.
Trains to Banbury can continue to call at Tackley.

Tackley to Oxford - please use the S4 Oxford to Banbury bus service and pay-as-you-go
Banbury, Kings Sutton and Heyford to Tackley - you will find it easier and quicker to travel by train to Oxford and get the next train back to Tackley - your rail ticket will be valid
Oxford to Tackley or Tackley to Banbury - we are able to continue to stop trains at Tackley for these journeys.
