Cancellations to services between Basingstoke and Surbiton
Following overrunning engineering works between Basingstoke and Surbiton all lines have now reopened.
What's Going On:
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed or revised. Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
What We're Doing About It:
We were earlier informed of overrunning engineering works between Basingstoke and Surbiton which meant that all lines were closed. Lines reopened later than scheduled at approximately 07:50. All lines have since reopened but services may be subject to delay, alteration or short-notice cancellation while we return to normal, please check before you travel. Due to the length of time the lines were closed, this has unfortunately caused crews and stock to be displaced across the network.

- Southern services between London Victoria and Portsmouth / Southampton in both directions.
Passengers are able to arrange their own taxis in order to complete their journey and claim this back from our Customer Services Team. In order to claim a refund, you will need:

The stations you travelled to and from.
A description of the series of events that took place.
Copies of your train tickets and taxi receipt.
